Services
I offer consultation, assessment, and individual counselling or psychotherapy services for adults and youth aged 16+. These services are available in person at my Kitchener office, and virtually across all of Ontario.
An appointment schedule may be recommended, depending on the type of work we are doing together, but each client will ultimately decide how often they would like to attend therapy.

I am able to provide letters and fill out forms, at your request. I will also consult with your other service providers, as appropriate. There may be an additional fee associated with letter writing and completion of forms.

Initial Consultation
An opportunity to meet and discuss your treatment goals. A chance to get a feel for my style and decide if I am the right therapist for you.

Assessment
This is the first appointment. The purpose of assessment is to learn more about you by getting a baseline understanding of your history and current circumstances. This appointment will give me the information I need to start developing a treatment plan with you.
$195.00 for 75min
Subsequent Appointments
Here, we will work on your goals, following the treatment plan we developed together. You will have the freedom to develop new or additional goals, give feedback on the direction we are headed, and provide input on our ever-evolving treatment plan.

Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required, should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Short notice or missed appointments will be charged the full session fee. Your appointment time is reserved just for you; a late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in my day that could have been filled by another client.
I recognize that sometimes life happens and some situations can't be helped. In cases of unexpected emergencies, please reach out immediately via email to let me know that you are unable to attend your session, and I will work with you to find a solution.
Privacy and Confidentiality
You can expect that your personal information and any documentation regarding your involvement with my services will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. The email address used for communication with clients is a secure business email. All scheduling, contact information, and charting is contained within Jane, a product that is PHIPA approved. Virtual visits are done via the secure Jane video call function. Your information will only be shared with others at your request, and with your expressed verbal or written consent. There are, however, some limitations to confidentiality, where I would be obligated to report to the appropriate authorities:

1. Imminent risk of harm to yourself or others;
2. Risk of harm to a child and/or dependent;
3. You disclose abuse caused by a licensed medical professional (i.e. a doctor or another therapist);
4. Your case notes are subpoenaed for court
